What Guests Are Saying
Panther Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, serene setting with spacious, private sites surrounded by lush vegetation and easy access to hiking trails and the creek. The campground is well-maintained, with clean facilities and a friendly host who enhances the experience. Some visitors noted issues such as a fire ban and occasional noise from neighbors, but overall, many expressed a strong desire to return and deemed it one of their favorite camping spots.

Absolutely adore this campground and feel so strongly that instead of exploring new campgrounds for each of our yearly camping trips, we're strongly considering making this our new, go-to space. I really hope this land doesn't get sold as I know is a risk right now, and remains the beautiful, publicly accessible land it currently is.

My group of 4 really loved this campsite. Quiet and each site is set far enough away from others to where it felt private. We loved the river access and hiking trails on the PCT (although the trailhead was hard to find). If we stay here again, Id want to book Site 28 for its river access and size of site.

Panther Creek is a really nice, woodsy campground. The sites that we have stayed at are separated enough that they are quiet and private and they are well maintained. The creek itself is fun for fly fishing, but don't expect anything over about eight inches. Of course, that could just be the limit of my fishing skills, your mileage may vary.

Campground was very clean, the restrooms didn't even smell which is a big difference compared to other places we've camped at. Angela, the host, was very informative and my family felt a lot safer with her around. Thank you for this wonderful experience:)

Camp Host and Cooper Camp kitty are the best! Beautiful forested campground along Panther creek. Most sites have good distance and vegetation for privacy. Was there for Memorial weekend and it was nice and quiet.

We love this camp. It’s absolutely beautiful here. Small, clean, quiet. Lots of little trails to explore near the creek, and waterfalls nearby. Angela is a wonderful camp host.
Don’t skip on Backwoods Brewery in Carson for your growler fill!

Loved the campground, secluded in the woods, and the camp host was fantastic. But be aware that you need to fill up the tank on your camper at the campground on the river if you have a camper, all they have is hand pumps at the site.
