What Guests Are Saying
Panther Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, serene setting with spacious, private sites surrounded by lush vegetation and easy access to hiking trails and the creek. The campground is well-maintained, with clean facilities and a friendly host who enhances the experience. Some visitors noted issues such as a fire ban and occasional noise from neighbors, but overall, many expressed a strong desire to return and deemed it one of their favorite camping spots.

This campground was peaceful. We stayed Sunday - Tuesday and couldn't hear any of the other campers. We stayed at site 3. It was full shade with tiny peaks of sun and a good site. Walking through the campground though, majority of sites looked good. Only one that was iffy to us was a group site that was directly next to the restrooms. You could hear a couple log trucks in the morning around 8/9 but they weren't bothersome. At night you can hear the creek.

We have stayed a Panther Creek campground for the past 4 years plus. It is a beautiful spot and we love it. What we found this year were dirty bathrooms, empty hand sanitizer dispensers and no firewood available.
Disappointing.

Amazing campground. A little dusty, so expect dirt dust to be on all of your belongings, but that's true of the area in general, so I can't blame the campsite for it. Hosts were very nice, bathrooms were clean, campsites were pretty well spaced apart. Easy access to Panther Creek, PCT, and a bunch of other attractions in the area. 10/10!

The camp host is awesome; campgroud is clean and well cared for. We hiked a bit both ways up the Picific Coast Trail, waded in the creek, and just relaxed. There's great hiking for all abilities to drive to in the area and good beer and food in Stevenson and Carson. Take the time to go for a soak at Carson Hotsprings resort or just get a shower if you have been out for awhile.

Love this quiet spot so close to Portland! The river is excellent. Campsites have tent pads and varying amounts of space, so if you are camping with a group, choose wisely.

Quiet campground with the feeling of being remote. Large campsites and several creek access points. Clean restrooms.

Great campground in a lush forest setting, plenty of room in between sites, the creek was right across with easy trails. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the tent sites, the official one is small, a 4 person dome hung over the edge, another one up in the trees was slanted,we ended up putting one tent on the parking pad. It would be very difficult to put a large tent in this site. It was very quiet during our stay, and the bathroom was very clean!

Panther Creek Campground is one of my very favorites. The site I choose is very private. It is close to the river. The Pacific Crest trail is right there off the campground. The campground is clean.
