The camp hosts were super helpful and kept us up to date about the local fires. Nice hike to Lava Butte-very steep! We enjoyed cooling off in the creek after huckleberry picking. Very clean and quiet. It’s our second time here and we’re definitely coming back!

Rustic but comfortable and well-maintained. Camp hosts were helpful and friendly, but not obtrusive.
I enjoyed my stay.

The campground and campsite were great and the hosts were very friendly. They kept the restrooms and vacated campsites tidy.
I have only two negative comments; there was a campsite south of us that had extremely bright area lights on until 2AM, and there were three or more campsites that had been reserved but not occupied by the second night of the reservation.
A rule restricting lighting to quiet hours would be appreciated and stricter enforcement of the existing reservation policy should be considered.

Primitive campground with vault toilets. No fish able streams nearby. Nice trails and OK privacy between sites.
