The site was gorgeous with the old growth trees throughout the campsite and along the Lava Butte Trail. We did not need to put up a canopy since the tree's canopy gave us a lovely light green shaded site. The camp host was great and gave us ideas of where to hike and local attractions. This will be one of my all-time favorite places to camp going forward.

We really loved this campground. Host was very helpful and welcoming, our site was clean and spacious, had a nice flat tent pad, some privacy, a great fire ring, and other campers friendly. The location of the campground cannot be beat - its in a beautiful old forest near all these trails with cool waterfalls (go see Falls Creek Falls), as well as close streams and rivers right by the campground. The nearby river was perfect background noise for sleeping. All the campground amenities were in good order. I understand and appreciate it's a fact of life when camping, but we lucked out not having any bugs, little critters, or birds to contend with (sometimes birds and chipmunks want in on camp meals). The well water turned slightly tan during the last 2 days of our trip due to increased iron, but it was still drinkable and useable for cooking. All part of joys of camping!

Host was nice, friendly, the campsite was clean and enough foliage to separate from each site. Gorgeous area. Our family will be back!

Very shady campground with tons of big trees. Some sites have river and creek access. Very quiet. Most sites were pretty large but some were much smaller and closer together. A few were very private. There are manual water pumps nearby and some restrooms. The hosts sell firewood.

Nice little loop of camp sites. Great location - proximity to St. Helens, Adams and all of the surrounding trails.
Camp host did a superb job of keeping the toilets clean. Firewood was easily purchased through iron ranger box during after hours.
The creek is small (it's summer...) But you can still use it for cooling off after a hike or to skip rocks in.
No one's fault but make sure you use the map to book a site and know that the highway is close (across the creek) to some sites and you will hear some car traffic or the occasional big truck when it's especially quiet.
5/5 we will gladly return to Paradise Creek.

Nice quiet campsite. Of course it was The week after Labor Day and the campground was mostly empty. There is a bit of road noise from the nearby road, but we could also hear the creek from our campsite which was nice. The camp hosts were very helpful and accommodating.
