What Guests Are Saying
Jones Bay Campground is a serene and picturesque location ideal for camping, boating, and swimming, with excellent trout fishing opportunities nearby. While the sites are somewhat cramped and amenities like water and trash services are lacking, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning scenery make it a favorite for many visitors. The campground's remote setting and reservation-only policy contribute to its tranquility, although it can be a bit challenging to access.

Jones Bay is one of the most restful camp grounds around. It is off the beaten path and has only nine campsites that are reservation only so if you want quiet you can find it there during the week before and after the summer stampede. The scenery is spectacular, the boat launch is very good. Be aware that there is no water and no trash cans so pack it in and pack it out. The one lane raid in can be a little hairy if you're pulling a boat or camp trailer, but that may be why it is so quiet. Love the place and have been going there for many years.

Great place. More shade on hot days would be nice, but it's all good. Bring a boat and enjoy exploring the lake.
