What Guests Are Saying
Kachess campground offers a beautiful, scenic environment with spacious and private campsites, making it a popular choice for many visitors. Numerous reviews praise the cleanliness of the campground and the friendliness of the staff, along with access to hiking trails and the lake. However, some concerns were raised about sanitation issues in the vault toilets, low lake water levels, and a lack of enforcement of campfire bans, which detracted from the overall experience for some campers.

We enjoyed our stay over the Labor Day weekend. Despite the crowds over the busy weekend, we found it quiet and peaceful. We spent the a day paddle boarding on the lake (the motorized boat side) -- it was very rocky shoreline -- I recommend bringing chairs. We hope to be back next year!

Beautiful camp that is well maintained. Lots to do around the campground including the beach and waterfall hike. Would highly recommend.

Site 116 was very private, the lake level was extremely low but honestly the worst part was the bathrooms. They don’t try even at all to keep them maintained. There are flies caked on the walls, swarming the toilet, no hand sanitizer in the dispenser, just nasty. The camp host also just drives around and sits on his phone directly in front of campsites, kinda odd. Overall the campsite was quiet and the walk to the lake wasn’t too bad.

East access to water and great sites. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner

I love this place. This year our trip was weird-super Smokey, lake super low and the interactions with camp employees were odd.
Normally amazing, love the group site and usually we paddle board and float and just enjoy the water.

We enjoy camping here very much. Once in a while the flush toilets and water stop working but, this is usually taken care of within an hour or two.

Good elbow room at our site (#135). We will be back annually.
