What Guests Are Saying
Kachess campground offers a beautiful, scenic environment with spacious and private campsites, making it a popular choice for many visitors. Numerous reviews praise the cleanliness of the campground and the friendliness of the staff, along with access to hiking trails and the lake. However, some concerns were raised about sanitation issues in the vault toilets, low lake water levels, and a lack of enforcement of campfire bans, which detracted from the overall experience for some campers.

Amazing Campsite, the woman in the booth who greeted us was able to answer all of my questions. They have a camp store that has all the necessities you might need if you forgot anything. We locked out because the weather was gorgeous, but either way, the lake is always absolutely stunning. Don’t forget your paddle board.

Very impressed with the campground staff. They were friendly, engaging and informative. The vault toilet was perfectly clean and well stocked with toilet paper. My site was clean and ready for me to set up camp as soon as I arrived. The only suggestion I would have is to figure out a way to have the camp store be able to sell ice and ice cream. I have several more reservations for Kachass this summer and am looking forward to each return.

Spacious camp sites. Camp host delivered fire wood to our site when needed. Water & flushable toilets available. Wonderful lake views & hikes near water.

I didn’t realize there isn’t a washing station by the rest rooms so i probably wouldn’t stay there again. There isn’t a hand washing station any where unfortunately

Wonderful spot, plenty of space and privacy. Camp host was wonderful. Lake was beautiful, with different routes to travel there. Bathrooms were not the best...leaking toilets, no hand soap or toilet paper at times.

Camp hosts were very helpful, campground was clean and quiet. Beautiful setting. The campground site detail should let campers know that spots are not all reservable, some spots are saved for walking.

Had a good experience with the campground despite rain. The flush toilets were clean and maintained. The lake water was very low.

Water levels after Labor Day were very low. It was a long drive over improvised roads from the boat launch to the water's edge. Very fun kayaking, though!
