What Guests Are Saying
The Hoh Rainforest Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Campers enjoyed the spacious sites, easy access to hiking trails, and educational ranger programs, which enhanced their experience. However, many noted issues with the lack of running water in restrooms and long wait times to enter the park, which could detract from the overall experience.

Beautiful area with nice campgrounds (loop C is very nice). Jam-packed during summer months. As mentioned by others, arrive very early (probably no later than 9am) or late, after 3:30pm, unless you want to get stuck in line trying to enter the park because the visitor center parking is full. I would not recommend the park in the summer because the trails were so packed, at least not if you’re local. I’ll visit in the spring or fall or even winter next time. Nothing wrong with the park, it’s beautiful, just very popular.
Bathrooms were very clean, campgrounds were quiet. Some spaces are close to each other but not too bad. The downside for me was the massive crowds so, like Rainier, off season is best. There are lots of lodging options in Forks if it’s colder and rainy.

Great campground. Super quiet at night. Spacious, wooded sites. Would readily camp here again!

It’s a busy place, but I found out why. The quality of nature here is top shelf. The visitors center is fantastic and we really enjoy the evening ranger program as well.

Great campsite, beautiful forest and wildlife. Facilities are well maintained and a lot happening in the park. Biggest recommendation is to arrive before 10am or after 5pm. We arrived at noon and the line was almost 3 hours long, so we drove back and enjoyed the beaches along the coast and checked in after 5 with no line at all.

It was clear that the NPD has been deprived of maintenance funds. The faucets in the women’s room at Loop A did not work, nor did the faucet at the dishwashing sink. Despite those inconveniences, the bathrooms were clean. The ranger talks were excellent even though the rangers had to tiptoe around the topic of climate change, as if it doesn’t exist.

The bathrooms were easily accessible and loved that the lights were auto on and off. The rainforest was absolutely stunning and loved hiking the hall of mosses.

This site is quite large but there’s only one good level space to put a tent in the back of the site, the rest is too uneven and rocky for sleeping. I would suggest it for a small/medium tent. I had a 2 person tent that fit perfectly on the patch. Since the space is a pull through it would also be good for small trailers. There are trees but none spaced properly for a hammock. The table was a large concrete one that cannot be moved placed near the fire pit. There is enough room between the neighboring sites that you feel like you have your own space. The site is right across the path for the restrooms which is nice. That is also where the water spigots are with a nice area to clean dishes. This site is the 2nd to last in the loop so it’s only a short walk to the dumpsters and info board.

Location great, campsite okay (does not have a level flat surface for a tent), bathroom poor (no running water for drinking or washing hands)

Beautiful site with good bathrooms. The B loop seemed to be private, with good space and vegetation between sites.
