We had a site in the A loop it was pretty sunny and dry. The campground was nicer on the other loops and would definitely pick a site with shade. Lots of great hiking in the area.

Hiked the Hoh River Trail to the giant redwood tree and beyond. The hike is beautiful. the redwood tree alone is worth the walk. Was very impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities!

Take your time. On short trails, Wander rather than hike. Stop often and looks around in all directions. Save your conversations for the parking lot. Speak quietly on the trails. Stop and listen to the forest.

Everything was wonderful. Host was great. We loved all of the tours/discussions in the ranger station and my daughter was excited to see an elk outside our tent in the morning. Thank you for everything you do to keep the National parka awesome!!

Great campsite. Bathroom facilities well maintained. Great for exploring the Hoh river trail and relaxing at a beautiful campsite, but the drive to reach the 101 is about 30-40 minutes so expect some driving if looking to explore other areas of Olympic, and the single entrance booth can extend that time during peak hours. Despite this, worth it to stay here and would do again.
