What Guests Are Saying
Mora Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites nestled in a lush coastal forest, offering privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Its proximity to Rialto Beach and various hiking trails enhances the camping experience, making it an ideal base for exploring Olympic National Park. While some facilities, particularly bathrooms, could use more attention, and there are no showers available, the overall charm and natural beauty of the campground make it a favorite for many campers.

Beautiful campground not far from Rialto Beach. The staff were very helpful to advise us with a route for biking among other things. Bathrooms were not very well cleaned, however.

Beautiful, clean and quiet campground! I highly recommend. I got a little nervous when I did not see a food storage locker near my site. I rode in on my bike so did not have a car to store my food. Turns out there is one food storage locker on each loop located behind the bathroom. Don't walk away from food being out on the table, the crows will get it!

It's a beautiful campground with large private sites. Our loop (E) even had a single family bathroom, which I've never seen at a campground before. No firewood sold at the campground, but there are plenty of small nearby stands that sell wood as well as a small convenience store about a 5-min drive away that sells ice, firewood, propane, and several food/camping essentials. If you have kids doing the junior ranger program, they have national park rangers onsite who can administer the oath and provide the pins, in case you don't want to do that in Port Angeles. Bring big spray!

We had very nice camp spots and had a lovely time. 8 days dry camping. The crows were very noisy everyday. Loved the vicinity and the beaches. Firewood was very attainable.

Great campground! We had more than enough room for our 7x7, 3 person tent. The trees were very beautiful and we got to meet many slugs :)

We stayed in site 72. It was amazing being able to reserve it 4 days in advance (which I did at the earliest moment possible like I was buying Eras tour tickets). The campground was lovely. Our campsite had bountiful salmonberry bushes, ample space for a 4 person tent and an 8 person tent, and a nice table. We were conveniently close to the restrooms (it was wonderful to have running water and flushing toilets, I must say). We saw other campers occasionally, but the campsite felt very private. There was a little patch of forest in the back of the site that was perfect for our toddlers to explore. My baby screamed while trying to go to sleep (I was holding him) for at least 10 minutes straight, and thankfully no one came to us to complain, though I'm sure everyone heard him. We had a great time exploring Rialto Beach, and it was so nice having that destination so close to the campsite. We did not explore the river nearby. We did need our own hand soap. There were some mosquitoes; we had a Thermacell bug repellent device, and that seemed sufficient and we did not need bug spray.
Overall, we had a great time! Very thankful for a successful 2-night camping trip with two 3-year-olds and a baby.

Great campground! Spaced out, private sites, close to the river and ocean. Great old growth forest filled with salmon berries this time of year. Clean facilities.
