The Dickey Boat Launch and trailer parking area will be closed for construction staging. No construction will occur during the Fourth of July weekend. From July 8–Oct. 5, construction crews will need to close both lanes to pedestrian, bicycle, and vehicle traffic beyond the Mora Campground. What Guests Are Saying
Mora Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites nestled in a lush coastal forest, offering privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Its proximity to Rialto Beach and various hiking trails enhances the camping experience, making it an ideal base for exploring Olympic National Park. While some facilities, particularly bathrooms, could use more attention, and there are no showers available, the overall charm and natural beauty of the campground make it a favorite for many campers.

This campground is well-maintained, with well-spaced private campsites. It makes for a perfect base location for exploring the surrounding area. The bathrooms are clean (bring your hand soap) and conveniently located. Our only complaint is that logging was occurring outside the park boundaries, and we could hear the chainsaws running.

We loved this place! Great central location and literally 3 minutes from Rialto Beach. The sites are beautiful and private, better for smaller RVs and tents. The camp host was amazing! She gave us lots of great tips!

Easy to find, good amenities, tent camping, everyone was quiet, not bothered by anyone, close to the car, no water view, there was an angry ground hive of bees near by but no one got stung.

I love the campground. It is set up great. Rainforest, lots of birds.
I wish you could do something about people that make reservations and don't show up. There were three empty spots next to me. Making reservations online shows all is full. People that don't show up or cancel is wrong and something needs to be done about it. People want to camp there and so many spots are wasted. Maybe you could have a deadline time to check in. Maybe a charge $200 per site and if you show up that day you only pay the current rate. It's abusive for people to not show up and it's a big problem. Thank you!

Old style campground, small sites. The campground may seem cramped, but there is penlty of room. Good thing, small means no large RV's and no generators. Great location for visiting the beach and the rain forest. Would stay there again.

We had a great night of experience at Mora Campground. I really like this place. We had a warm fire in the evening. Sitting by the fire sipping hot tea is wonderful. We went to the nearby Rial Beach. It is a beautiful and special beach that I have never seen. I will come back here.

The sites were nice and proximity to ocean great. The bathrooms were gross. We were there tues-fri and no soap and no cleaning had been done at the campground bathrooms. Toilet paper piled on the floor and the toilets really need a scrub. Sinks hadn’t been wiped so up, so several day old spit and bugs and hair in there, as we saw them every day haha. However it was quiet and campsites were nice, and it’s so close to the ocean! The pit toilets at the ocean day use area were cleaner, so you can use those whenever possible. In summary I would go again but bring your own soap, and hopefully they will hire more help for cleaning.
