What Guests Are Saying
Mora Campground is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained sites nestled in a lush coastal forest, offering privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. Its proximity to Rialto Beach and various hiking trails enhances the camping experience, making it an ideal base for exploring Olympic National Park. While some facilities, particularly bathrooms, could use more attention, and there are no showers available, the overall charm and natural beauty of the campground make it a favorite for many campers.

Camped for three nights. It was within walking distance to Rialto Beach, via a road, and along the river. It was a quiet campground until Friday night and then the partiers came and were very loud until about 1am. We had two cars and two 6 person tents. It was cozy, but had plenty of space. We explored Rialto Beach, 1st Beach, 3rd Beach, & Cape Flattery. The Olympic coast is truly magical.

We stayed at site 31, B loop and were pleasantly surprised the site was much bigger than we thought. We comfortable fit two 6-person tents. Location was great, bathrooms were super clean. We’ll be back!

While the campsites are very close together our site was very private. We were able to squeeze our 30 foot trailer in the parallel
slot and our tow vehicle, but we were very close to the road. We even had fresh Salmon Berries with my birthday cake.

Large private sites. Beautiful foliage. One of the most peaceful campgrounds we've ever stayed. Highly recommend.

Beautiful campground just a few miles away from the amazing Rialto beach. Only one quirk the Campsite I was at said you needed to have a vehicle that was no bigger than 12 feet long and almost no vehicles are that small. It turns out there was room for two so you could just park sideways.

Beautiful campground with mature trees and shade. Not on Rialto Beach, which we knew , but walking there is not recommwnded because the access road has no shoulders and is busy with traffic as it is a popular beach with the Hole-in-t he-Wall hike. Site 31 was an eaay level for a 25' motohome.

We were in site #2, which was spacious, scenic, and fairly convenient to the bathrooms and water. Unfortunately, the sounds from sites 1 and 3 carry very easily, and we had some noisy neighbors. No gross misbehavior, just large groups who had voices that carried, and chatting from site #1 went on beyond 2am. Other people have a right to enjoy camping here, so I must accept sharing the soundscape with them.

We stayed at Mora Campground, just a few minutes from Rialto Beach, for the first time. I was disappointed that we couldn’t see the river from our site (90) like I thought we would, but other than that and the rocky ground, I recommend staying here. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen for a campground. The sounds of wildlife were amazing, the plants were interesting, the host was helpful, there was vegetation between each site for privacy, the grounds were clean and mostly quiet, and the location was good. There are wood sellers along the way. Most take cash, but we saw one or two that take Venmo as well. There is also a Ranger Station near the entrance to purchase your pass(es) and answer questions. Oh, and Verizon had great service!
