My son and I were passing through this area and reserved a spot instead of finding a Forest Service road or off-grid camping.
Very quiet, which is somewhat expected for November camping.
Super clean restrooms conveniently located.
We stayed in a pull-through site which was helpful when arriving in the evening.
Added bonus: We were able to see the Northern Lights!

Gifford is our favorite campground. The sites are spacious and clean. Water access is very easy and can be done without disturbing your neighbors. When we go camping there it’s mostly for relaxing I go kayaking everyday. I don’t go far by myself but there are great places to stop and see wildlife. When you get luck you get to see Eagles. Every time we’ve been there is a quiet campground even during the day which is why we camp here every chance we get.

Been going to Gifford for 30 years. It is a great campground. Clean, well Maintained, and an overall fun place to camp. Prices are getting a little high, and the addition of the water/dump additional fee is outrageous. I already paid the site spot, I shouldn’t have to pay more to dump. I can go to full hook ups for not much more. This may be what pushes us away from camping at the federal campgrounds, or at a minimum will limit how much we use them.

Great campground. Friendly host, big sites, easy access to the water. I loved it! good bathrooms, only an outdoor shower but it too was adequate. I loved everything about it!

Nice campground right on the lake. Be advised, the beach is pretty rocky and gets quite a bit of milfoil later in the season. It can also be brutally hot, as it is in eastern Washington in the summer.
