What Guests Are Saying
Gifford Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with spacious sites and easy access to the water, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, friendly hosts, and the campground's quiet atmosphere, especially during off-peak seasons. However, some reviews mention concerns about the closeness of campsites, noise from neighboring campers, and rising fees for services like water and dump stations. Overall, it remains a highly recommended spot for relaxation and outdoor activities like kayaking.

Unfortunately, we had to leave after a few hours due to extreme level of smoke from a major area fire.
I gave a 5 star rating for a few reasons. 1. The hosts were outstanding and very helpful. Also, due to the unhealthy smoke conditions and my own adversity to smoke, they were gracious and submitted to the recreation.gov site for a refund since we couldn’t stay. The refund was indeed processed. Also, the location, the park and the site that we stayed at, as brief as it was, were all excellent.

Its nice that most of the sites are right next to the lake. Take a side trip and ride the cute Gifford Ferry and visit Twin Lakes or even get supplies at the Inchelium Store.

Beautiful campground with easy access to swimming and boating. Not a lot of shade but one can find it. Bathrooms are great , outdoor showers for after swimming. Water and pump outs easy to find. Campers are advised when the quiet time is not adhered to. Hosts are friendly & available. I’ll definitely come back!!

This is my new favorite WA campground! Clean and well-maintained, beautiful views, friendly hosts, and the best beaches. (Admittedly, we were spoiled to have a great campsite with limited neighbors.) Highly recommend and we’ll most definitely be back!
