What Guests Are Saying
Gifford Campground offers a beautiful and well-maintained setting with spacious sites and easy access to the water, making it a favorite for many campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, friendly hosts, and the campground's quiet atmosphere, especially during off-peak seasons. However, some reviews mention concerns about the closeness of campsites, noise from neighboring campers, and rising fees for services like water and dump stations. Camp site was right on the beach. Our neighbors were great. Vault toilet was kept clean. Flush toilet available. The only bad thing was the host. Was very strict and was giving out warnings to anyone making any noise after 10

Gifford is our favorite camping place! The camp hosts are friendly and welcoming. The camp sites are clean and well maintained. Very quiet and relaxing with many ways to get down to the water. Restrooms are clean and properly stocked. Our kids love coming to Gifford for the swimming and the open areas for riding their bikes. We can’t wait to go back again!

The water is very clear this year and we had a great time floating. The only downside this year was the vault toilet down by the group site ran out of tp every day. Should be monitored more closely by the camp host.

I was on a motorcycle ride following the Columbia River. I had made reservations, paid, so it was nice to pull in and have camp site. The camp was pristine! View was immaculate. The weather cooperated as well we just threw down our bed rolls and slept under the trees. I look forward to going again.

Beautiful well-kept campground! The bathrooms were very clean! Camp host was very friendly and helpful! There is a swimming dock, an outdoor shower (no indoor showers) boat launch, beach area BEAUTIFUL sunsets!! You do hear the slight noise of the ferry crossing as the campground is very close.

Nice, clean campground in a beautiful location along the river. Water and dump station available for an extra fee. Camp sites are crammed in, so expect loud, fume-spewing generators just feet away from your camp.

It was so nice to have a camp site right on the water; it was great to sit and enjoy the views of the water and mountains. beautiful sunsets too.
I just wished the three jet boats weren't so noisy, trying to outdo each other on Saturday. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience.
