We had a wonderful time. It was a little confusing figuring out where to get the firewood, but we loved our campsite and it was very peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were well maintained.

This Was our first time camping. We weren’t too sure what to expect. This was recommended to us by a family member because my husband and son wanted to do some fishing. Overall it was fine. The lock broke on the bathroom door so I got locked in on Friday morning. We were disappointed that even though the website it would be open the store was not so we couldn’t purchase firewood and we didn’t bring any with us. I think overall it was fine but there were a lot of trees so not a lot of open areas to throw a football or some thing and it’s challenging to have to drive to the lake to fish etc.

Beautiful large campsites. Plenty of room on the lake front. Nice and quiet.

We enjoy Bumping Lake very much. Our site worked very well for us. We were very disappointed, however, in the closure of the day use public restrooms. As we visited that area there was trash and toilet paper all over the place since day use people had to go into the woods to take care of restroom needs. The weekend use was so heavy that the trash needs to be picked up on Mondays instead of Thursdays. Overflowing trash bins. That area is a serious health hazard. Keeping the restrooms closed during the pandemic is a bad idea - makes health hazards worse. The camping site areas are fine. Nice camp hosts. The day use area is a serious health hazard issue.

We love bumping lake campground. But the bathrooms at the boat launch/swimming area was closed. That was awful. My family had to pick up garbage everyday at the swimming area as well. But the camp grounds were great aside from them having no wood.
