Lower loop campsites are very dusty and dirty. In addition the sites are becoming overgrown with small trees. The Forest Service really needs to thin the trees out, as it’s basically a forest fire waiting to happen.

Campsites are good sized and not on top of each other. Easy access to the lake. Only complaint is that there wasn't firewood for sale nearby and a couple of times the vault toilet was out of TP. Still would recommend to anyone wanting to do some car camping near a nice lake for kayaking.

Campground and sites were very well laid out and my family and I enjoyed our time
We did have 4 fishing poles stolen out of our boat while parked at the campsite, so that was very annoying.
But our kids enjoyed riding there bikes and exploring the lake. The sites have decent privacy between them everything seemed to be within a reasonable walking distance to the lake.

Bumping Lake is a great campground - roomy and never feels crowded, even when full. Great sightlines, so no problem to let the little ones run about, and having the lake nearby makes for fun outings. A trip to this campground has become an annual event in my family.
