Great campground. Recent wildfire made it less beautiful, however. Also, water didn't work first couple days we were there. So bring extra just in case.

Campground was clean. The surrounding forest has fire damage. This site says drinking water, but there was no water due to a problem with the well pump. We had to drive to the lake to get some, which was fine but would have rather had an accurate description of amenities on this site.

The campground staff/hosts were amazing! Literally one of the best outhouse experiences of my life, super clean and fresh. Beautiful campground. I appreciate the wasp traps, too.

Overall the campsite was very clean and beautiful! The hosts Nick and Christina were awesome!!! Nick is so welcoming and fun to chat with checking in with you daily on your visit and if you need anything. We stayed in spot 22 which was sort of near the creek which was easily accessible from spot 20, next to us. I’d recommend trying to snag spots 20 or 18 (I think??) if you want to have your own access to the creek. No fires were allowed during our stay but still enjoyable with the water near us and Bumping Lake is about 10 min drive away and PERFECT for a daytime hangout/float. No service in the area. Clean bathrooms but no sinks. Only complaint we had were all the little bees around us when we started cooking. The hosts had bee traps hanging nearby but they were empty lol the bees were just so so bad in the daylight.. what can you do though. Otherwise great experience and beautiful campground, really spacious from other spots and would definitely come back!!
