What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

We had a lovely time over the weekend. The site was well maintained and the restrooms were clean. The spot that we had was on the small size and we just managed to get our tent into a spot where we were able to peg it down (some of the pitch was concrete), although we were on a slight incline. We had 2 large parties either side of us which may have been why we had a small spot. Overall we enjoyed our time here but if we were to come again we would not want the spot we were on we would opt for one on the lower loop, these looked much larger.

Lake Roosevelt is the wonderful place to take rest. Camping with awesome view, some windy days at times but still enjoyable. The campground host personal is friendly and welcoming.

We have camped here before and have typically enjoyed it, but unfortunately, this time, there was no enforcement of the quiet time (after 10pm). We ended up with about 10 people next to us who decided that it was ok to be very loud after 10pm with lots of colorful language. We have 2 children and the campsite next to us had 3 young girls, who I'm sure didn't appreciate it any more than we did. Needless to say, we didn't get a lot of sleep. The site host was not helpful and seemed to be "lights out" after about 9:30, so even if we wanted to have them help they were unavailable. The beach area also allows for dogs - and there were many of them - so we had to watch where we stepped, sat, etc... due to people not cleaning up after their dogs.

Very memorable experience!! Well maintained campgrounds, bathrooms & lake side! Only drawback was there was no private shower area's but for a weekend get away it was perfect. Camp counselors were very nice and respectable. the lake was a few minute walk and was very well maintained, will come again!

Me and my friend stayed here during the Covid-19 pandemic, hoping to get some time away from the city after being cooped up for 3 months.
The Pros: easy access to a beautiful lake and beautiful scenery. I was afraid it would be too crowded but the beach and swim area is big enough that it was easy to distance from other people. Lake and beach were clean and water felt great. The bathrooms are nice and clean as well and the campground host seemed very nice. We saw her talking to a lot of people and she seemed very friendly!
The Cons: Campsites are SUPER close together. Like almost right on top of each other. We had a hard time figuring out which picnic table was ours because our site was so close to our neighbors. If you have a respectful neighbor, this isn't much of a problem, however on our last night there, our new neighbors that moved in brought about 15 people and their whole kitchen and living room with them. They stayed up until 3 AM talking loudly, crushing beer cans and shining their lights in our tent, even after I got up twice and asked them to be quieter. Then they woke up at 6:30 and were banging around first thing in the morning. Honestly the rudest people I have ever camped beside. Just be warned that this is a possibility and to bring earplugs. Also, if you're camping to get away from people during Covid, just look for a different campground. This one is way too packed with people and sites are too close.

The day use area was very nice. Our campsite was not level and had very little shade. Quiet hours were not enforced and was very noisy until 2 AM both nights we were there.
