What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

This is our second year in a row coming here and it is crazy how one year can change. People we absolutely loud until 4am. I can't believe the camp host didn't ask them to quiet down. Teens were running aid l around yelling God bless to people after midnight. We probably will never come back. And to top it off the flush toilets didn't work most of the weekend. The ones down at the beach also did not work, we had to walk up a hill to use the outhouse. I'm not rating low because of that though. Just a low rating for disrespectful loud people and the fact that camp host didn't hear or care at all.

Camped in the Upper Loop. Much of the area was like a paved parking structure, with a metal roof and RV's parked like cars in parking slots. My 11ft tall Class C RV just barely fit under the roof. The facility description does not include this height restriction information. We were very close to neighbors and very little barriers between campers. This loop has a large green space available for relaxing or play. The lower loop was more traditional camping under trees. The recreation area was terrific. Very clean all over. Just stayed one night. Great for kids and families, not so much for adults that want to "get away from it all."

The web site gave me a 58’ site but when we arrived it was a tent site.
The host called and explained the situation to recreation.gov but no reimbursement has been offered nor could we properly stay at the site.
It was told us that it was fixed.

Nice park, nice lake. Our particular site was parallel to road and a little tight with slide-outs.

We really enjoyed our stay here. One night we went to the local Mexican restaurant called LA Presa that was good and less then 10 mins away. Nice to have a close break from camping food. We also enjoyed the coffee shop Voltage in Grand Coulee one morning before visiting the dam visitor center. The campground has an easy walking trail to the lake that we also enjoyed. A nice hike for our family as well was near our campsite and even our 6 year old could do it just fine. A great vacation for us!
