What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

Not a good campground if you’re looking for privacy. Sites are very uneven and don’t have good areas for tents. Generators running all day (if you need power, go to a campground with hook ups!). Beach is nice but VERY busy.

It was all nice and stuff until the sprinklers turn on on the middle of the night and got everything wet

It was disappointing that this campsite is by reservation only. For those of us who are adventuring with no real itinerary, it makes it difficult to ensure we have a place to stay on a daily basis. The camp itself was well taken care of, clean, quiet, and fantastic.

Verizon speeds were fast at 44 Mbps download and 22 upload. AT&T was 19/0.3. Verizon was with a roof mounted Pepwave antenna, ATT was via smartphone.
We stayed in the lower loop for one night as an overnight stop. No issues with the access road getting there.
Our site was fairly awkward to get into because of a hill in front of the site that gets in the way of your swing. It was moderately level. A decent amount of shade was available, but the tree wasn't tall enough to cause solar issues. Decent view of the lake.
Even if you have a reservation, they want you to fill out a slip with your reservation info on it for them and clip it to your site post.
Dump station with potable water open and available.

We camped in the upper which has excellent views of the river valley and the sunset behind the dam. The campsites are not as spacious as some other campgrounds we've been. Toilets were clean.

This was our first time at Spring Canyon. We had one of only two I believe pull through and it not a typical pull through but it worked. We enjoyed our time there. The bathrooms were clean, no showers. The grounds were nice

The site we were in was not level. It was so far off that I could not get it leveled on either axis. I was at least a half bubble off on each. The area was clean, and the campground is well taken care of. Great view of the river and dam. The sites are just small and not level.
