What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

Ok campground, not well thought out. Appears as if they changed a number of the sights from tent only to rv or tent. Many have the fire rings on the back side of the camper.

The camp host was very helpful the first night on arrival. However the 2nd night we had a group of young adults who arrived after 1130 to set up camp. They kept us and everyone around up till 330 or so. We decided to leave a day early because of the disrespect of these other campers. I would request 1 day refund for the 3rd day.
Thank you,
Otherwise the area is lovely too bad for this poor experience.

Great very well maintained campground. Only reason not 5 stars. Upper camp area very small and crowded. We had a small travel trailer and glad no one was across from us as it would have been hard to park. Bathrooms also closed . Otherwise very nice

Most campsites are on a slope and hard to back in to from the access roads with a larger trailer (ours is 24 ft.). River was very low in April and the swim area, docks and boat launch were inaccessible.

I liked the reservation system especially as you could reserve the day you arrive and no reservation fee. The campground was clean and the views amazing. We were there after October 1 so no water, garbage or flush toilets which was fine. What I didn’t like were two loud generators that were annoying. If the the beginning and ending times could be changed to allow less generator use, I would be happy.

I almost hate to tell this, but the place was EMPTY! Late September, trees were changing color and we were the only ones in the campground on a Monday night. We had the lake, beach AND campground to ourselves. It was clean and quiet, the water was warm enough for the dogs to play in the shallows, and there were just a few fisher-people during the day. It was a perfect stay!

We had unusually mild weather. There were very few campers.
It's a lovely setting, sites nicely spaced with well-placed trees.
We were delighted that the campground was still open.
