What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

Well-kept campground, some campsites closer to each other than others. The map is kind of deceiving, but it was still a decent camp spot. Would go back again.

Campground is clean with a nice swim beach. We stayed there as a last minute reservation so camped under a carport structure, camps are side by side with absolutely no privacy. We would stay there again, but only in the lower loop or group sites.

Crowded and noisy. Loud generators being used late in the evening and early in the morning. Teenagers partying til 1 am.

In 2020 and 2021 there were certain campsites closed off for social distancing. When our large group made our reservations back in January 2022, these sites were still blocked out. We reserved sites that should have been next to each other. Sometime between January and our reserved weekend, these sites were re-opened and made available to the public. Other people reserved these sites and were right in middle of our large group of four families. We were able to convince most of the parties to trade for our outermost sites so that our group could cluster together, but not every group was cooperative. This likely won’t happen again, unless sites are once again blocked for distancing. It added a lot of stress to our trip.

The lake is amazing!

If you are looking for breathing room it is best to avoid this campground. The camper locations are sandwiched under apartment parking lot roof coverings in narrows slits. The garbage truck does its rounds at 6am EVERY morning, and you're so close to one another if a baby is crying all night long 3 campsites to either side of you, you will be up listening to it.
We are always down for an adventure but this was not camping, this was parking for the weekend in a parking lot. :-(

Always a great place to spend a summer break. Upper loop is looking as good as it ever has. Sand improvements covering rocky edge from the boat launch to the floating dock.
