Very clean and well-maintained park. Saw mule deer every day and a flock of wild turkeys just wandering through the campground. Many sites will accommodate bigger rigs than site says. We are a 38' 5th wheel and easily fit on our site with plenty of parking room for the truck. Plus, we had a clear view of Lake Roosevelt. Do your research. Definitely go over to the dam for the nightly laser show. Well worth the time and cool to see.

Very disappointing trip.
Showed up at our reserved campsite only to find what looked like a “ homeless person” camping there. Attempting to move him along we we’re basically told to go pound sand. Was unable to contact or locate a ranger for help
the entire weekend. Parked our camper in another camp site, but because we didn’t know if it was reserved and feared we might have to relocate again we were unable to fully set up our camp site and enjoy the stay.
Was hoping for a weekend of R&R was just the opposite.

Great spot for a long or short stay. No hookups, but there is a dump station and the campground is in decent shape.

Campground a short distance, couple of miles, from the dam. Campground is basis but defiantly stop at the dam visitor center.

We enjoy going the first or second week in September, as the kids are back in school and the place is usually pretty empty. The beach is fantastic.
Weather was great. The Dam is only a ten minute drive, so take the Dam tour or see the Dam laser show. Don't miss out on the Crown Point Lookout which is about 15 minutes away. The only drawback is no showers, except an outdoor shower down by the beach.

The campground was well kept and the bathrooms very clean. The Campground hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The only big problem I had was the campers across from us were very loud till past midnight. The campers behind us ran there generator all day and until 10:00 PM I think the rangers should assist the Camp Host with the enforcement of quiet time.

Take State Highway 2 west of Spokane for 65 miles to the town of Wilbur, Washington. Turn north on State Highway 174 (follow road signs). Travel 19 miles and turn right at the sign for Spring Canyon Campground.
Spring Canyon Campground is accessible via State Highway 2, which is approximately 65 miles from Spokane, and State Highway 174, which connects to the campground from Wilbur.

General
- Dump/Fill Station onetime fee of $10 for campers with a reservation or $5 with Senior/Access pass. This is intended for visitors recreating in established campgrounds within the boundaries of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area and not for residential use. Pay online prior to use at pay.gov/public/form/start/1575878640
- Flush toilets are available and water faucets turned on May 1st to September 30, weather permitting
- Campfires are not allowed in upper loop sites 32-78
- Pets are allowed but must be restrained at all times.
- No livestock.
- No off-road vehicles allowed. No off-road parking; park in designated areas only.
- No metal detectors or artifact collecting allowed
- Bring confirmation with you. Transfer the confirmation information onto the green slips located at the Fee Board as you enter the campground. Hang filled out tag at your site.
- Fires are permitted in the fire rings year-round, EXCEPT when the fire danger rating reaches a critical level as indicated by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources for the area that includes Lake Roosevelt NRA.
- Don't Move Firewood: Help protect our forests! Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. Moving firewood is illegal in some states. Visit dontmovefirewood.org to learn more.
- Weekly Boat Launch Permits must be purchased on line at https://www.pay.gov/public/form/start/656441199 . Please purchase prior to your trip. Annual Boat Launch Permits are available in person by vendor only.
- Due to watering the odd campsites numbered from 33 - 77 are RV only. No tents allowed on the grass.
