What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

The lower loop campground is very nice and well kept. There are nice views of Lake Roosevelt.

It must be crazy here in the summer time; the day use area is huge. But quiet and beautiful in September. I will stay here again.

We have been coming to camp at Spring Canyon for years, so were Very Surprised on arriving to see that now it was Reservation Only!
The bathrooms were cleaned every day and were very nice, as is the day use park so beautiful and well taken care of each day by park staff- very much appreciated.

The nightly light show at Grand Coulee Dam was a fun activity. The campground is conveniently 3 miles away. Easy walk to the lake.

Very open campground with non-conventional sites. You will get to know your neighbors. Upper loop is a parking lot where you camp right next to your neighbor. Limited options for tents.
Nice view of lake and day use area is very nice. Group sites look fantastic, set well off from other sites.

Be aware. The lower loop of the campground is beautiful, but the upper loop looks like a parking garage. We had booked the last available spot (#59) and were excited to check the campground out. The day use area looks very lovely. We were very very disappointed to drive up to our spot though. I am not even kidding, there is a overhead covering over the parking spot for the RV. There is zero space in between the sites and there is no grass or any space to hang out with your family. It truly looks like a parking garage. We left and camped elsewhere. So if you plan on camping here, make sure you get the lower loop or don’t waste your time and money.

Lots of RVs vs tent campers. Generators constantly on. Ugh. Sites a bit too close together (sorry for my snoring, neighbors!).
Proximity to Grand Coulee is excellent.

This is probably one of the best swimming beaches in Washington. It does get busy though and campsites are a little close together.
