What Guests Are Saying
Spring Canyon offers a beautiful campground with well-maintained facilities, clean restrooms, and a lovely beach area for swimming and fishing. Many visitors appreciate the helpful campground staff and the peaceful setting, especially during off-peak times. However, some campers noted issues with noise from nearby sites, close proximity of campsites, and the absence of a camp host, which affected their experience. Overall, the location's charm and access to outdoor activities make it a desirable spot for many.

Great view, nice site (somewhat hard to level our motorhome). Lots of bugs though.

Great spot for a long or short stay. No hookups, but there is a dump station and the campground is in decent shape.

Campground a short distance, couple of miles, from the dam. Campground is basis but defiantly stop at the dam visitor center.

We enjoy going the first or second week in September, as the kids are back in school and the place is usually pretty empty. The beach is fantastic.
Weather was great. The Dam is only a ten minute drive, so take the Dam tour or see the Dam laser show. Don't miss out on the Crown Point Lookout which is about 15 minutes away. The only drawback is no showers, except an outdoor shower down by the beach.

The campground was well kept and the bathrooms very clean. The Campground hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The only big problem I had was the campers across from us were very loud till past midnight. The campers behind us ran there generator all day and until 10:00 PM I think the rangers should assist the Camp Host with the enforcement of quiet time.

I should have driven around before reserving our spot. There wasn’t much room, and the sprinklers hit us in our tent in the middle of the night. Beach was great, as were bathrooms.

Good site, our first stop in the US and we were unaware of the reservation system. Very helpful hosts guided us an through the plans let us know about the laser show at the dam. Also helped a computer charge. Great experience.
