Many visitors enjoyed the spacious sites that provided privacy and appreciated the helpful campground host. However, some concerns were noted about maintenance, noise from generators, and the need for better site management, particularly regarding tree trimming and waste disposal.

We had a fantastic time at Hunter’s. Site 37 wasn’t (as close) to the water as some of the others but it was still very close and it made up for that with its spaciousness.. it seemed like one of the biggest sites on the property. We’ll be back.

They REALLY NEED to notify people if their water faucets are not on so people can plan accordingly! It says they are and they weren’t on, anywhere! Vault toilets only, and
You would think because the Camp hosts live there that they would stock toilet paper, but that also didn’t happen. The 2/3 nights we were there someone’s car alarm went off for over an hour each night. I was spot 29, where you park you then have to walk up a steep small hill to the fire pit and picnic table, there was very little space, especially if you have a dog.

The reservation confirmation should be more clear on which site you reserved. No cell service there so I had to rely on memory and chance. And put my name on the post so I'm sure when I get there.
