Pardon the flair for the dramatic but... it is fitting.
First, the site itself was amazing, if a little cluttered with plant debris. Being a more remote campsite, I can't complain about that. The views were beautiful from the shoreline directly adjacent.
HOWEVER...
The male camp host is a complete and utter jerk who has no business dealing with people at all. My first encounter with him during my abbreviated stay was him sicking his two black labs on me (what happened to the leash and restraint rules?) when I argued about fishing near the swim area. There are no posted rules or signs saying it's off limits - but he YELLED at me for it saying it was "his" rule. The female counterpart was a bit on the snooty side but nothing like this man. I spent hundreds last year on campgrounds I found here, but this man needs to go, or I'll never come back.

The camp host was a very rude and negative person. She does not know how to communicate with people being a host is not a good fit for her I have been going to hunters camp ground for years and if she remains the host I will not recommend anyone or myself to go there! She could do better and needs to do better.

We had a fantastic time at Hunter’s. Site 37 wasn’t (as close) to the water as some of the others but it was still very close and it made up for that with its spaciousness.. it seemed like one of the biggest sites on the property. We’ll be back.

They REALLY NEED to notify people if their water faucets are not on so people can plan accordingly! It says they are and they weren’t on, anywhere! Vault toilets only, and
You would think because the Camp hosts live there that they would stock toilet paper, but that also didn’t happen. The 2/3 nights we were there someone’s car alarm went off for over an hour each night. I was spot 29, where you park you then have to walk up a steep small hill to the fire pit and picnic table, there was very little space, especially if you have a dog.
