Hoping to swim or put floats in by camp spot but very muddy shoreline. Campsites very close together for our liking

I was a bit disappointed with how close together the sites were. We were in site 11. The view of the lake was amazing at the site, though there's a communal path at the back of the site by the lake that means other campers walk through the open backside of the site. Also, the camp host doesn't sell firewood! So was really difficult getting wood for our campsite. So pick up wood in larger towns before you get to Hunters.

The campsite itself was fairly good, waterfront was nice with a nice little park. The only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars is due to the lady camp host. She came around 3 times In the first 30 min with new rules that we where breaking. My boys couldn’t ride their electric bikes because they had plastic that made them look like motorcycles. It really made us uneasy about doing something wrong and took a lot of the freedom of camping away

Pardon the flair for the dramatic but... it is fitting.
First, the site itself was amazing, if a little cluttered with plant debris. Being a more remote campsite, I can't complain about that. The views were beautiful from the shoreline directly adjacent.
HOWEVER...
The male camp host is a complete and utter jerk who has no business dealing with people at all. My first encounter with him during my abbreviated stay was him sicking his two black labs on me (what happened to the leash and restraint rules?) when I argued about fishing near the swim area. There are no posted rules or signs saying it's off limits - but he YELLED at me for it saying it was "his" rule. The female counterpart was a bit on the snooty side but nothing like this man. I spent hundreds last year on campgrounds I found here, but this man needs to go, or I'll never come back.
