This a small camp site that exceeded my expectations, big sites more than enough for my family and trailer, clean vault restrooms. easy access to water, boat launch and small beach, so quiet and private, unfortunately there is a noisy and busy lodge across the lake, that was annoying bot nothing to do with Gillette lake campground, definitely we will come back.

We arrived to find our reserved camp site given to someone else. We arrived around 3 pm the day of our reservation and someone elseβs name was one the card one the post and the lady their said it was her site.

We come here every year for a few days. Great campground and the two young gentlemen who are the hosts this year were friendly and helpful while also keeping the facilities clean.

We love it here.....Gillette Campground for the woodsy area and Lake Gillette Campground to be close to the lake plus the woodsy feel, and it's also close to home!

Just camped here for 4 nights over the Labor Day weekend 2021. Very nice campground with a short walk to the lake. Quiet within the campground HOWEVER, there are several ORV areas just past the campground and the noise of the off road vehicles going past the campground is LOUD and pretty continuous from about 8 am until dark especially weekend. Many of the riders are not of legal age to be on any paved road.
There is a lovely hike called Springboard which is a circle route of 2.5-3 miles and moderate level. The chain of lakes is pretty and fun with kayaks and paddleboards although there can be alot of speed boats on the next lake.
