Great location for hiking and water sports. There is a new viewpoint created by the USFS of Pee Wee Falls that is within an hour of the campground on the east bank Pend Oreille River. Extremely quiet campground.

Quiet and pleasant except for bees, mosquitoes, flies.
Never could find campground host to ask questions.

It would have been very good other than the fact that there needs to be more beach access and not let people basically camp in the day access ( old lakeside camp sights) so other people can never use it. It was irritating. We were there three nights / 4 days and never saw the camp host. Other than that, it was great.

The camping experience was great as always. However, I had to change my reservation ( shortened by one day) and to do that the whole reservation was cancelled and rebooked one day less. The daily rate had gone up since I made the original reservation and I was charged the new rate for the reservation. That gave only a $9 refund for the day less. It seems a backhanded way to retroactively charge the increase in rates.

Camp hosts were kind and helpful. Vault toilets were clean and in good shape. Quick walk to Noisy Creek and Sullivan Lake. Swimming near the boat launch was a decent area to swim, but there are several other little beaches in the day use area. A little bit of noise from Sullivan Lake Road, but not very often (i.e. loud motorcycles on occasion). Saw a few snakes (small Garter like snakes) swimming in the Lake and one in the camp site as we were leaving.

My family and I have made Sullivan lake a tradition for the past 8 or 9 years! The walk to the beach is a little far but worth it! It's a very beautiful path with a bridge and a fresh mountain spring! The view from the beach makes you never want to leave! Most of the sites are semi private and supports multiple tents. I look forward to my 6 day stay every year! Stay beautiful

Well maintained campground, no complaints there. Only real comment is that it is laid out primarily for people with RVs. The tent pads are minimal and there's no real choice about where to put the tent - and it had better be a small one. I saw people pitch their tent in the RV pad because there was no room otherwise. Good visual privacy between sites but they tend to back right onto the site behind you. One friend in a different site said it felt like the people behind them were right in his site. But other than that it's a nice campground, nice location, good access to the lake with a little beach and a couple of hiking trails and a boat ramp.

We had a very nice time. The came site is close to the outhouse and close to the trail to the lake. My only complaint is the trees by where you park dripped sap all over our pickup.

We’ve stayed here two years in a row now and each time is memorable and peaceful. It’s a perfect spot for kids, they can easily ride their bike around the loops and swim in the lake. Hands down one of my favorite campgrounds I’ve been to. Just be mindful of the bears.
