We really appreciated our campground manager, Kenneth. He was warm and welcoming, diligently tended to the pit toilets and trash receptacles, and promptly responded to ‘bear alerts’ by visiting each campsite and giving everyone a heads-up.
The only issue we experienced was a dog incessantly barking for over an hour on the morning of June 24th. It sounded like the owners had negligently left the dog tied up and unattended at their campsite, creating a real nuisance issue for other campers and nearly ruining what otherwise would have been a peaceful morning at camp. I would suggest posting a written policy prohibiting leaving dogs unattended at campsites or day-use areas.

It was easy to make changes in our camping schedule. Noisy Creek campground is beautiful and peaceful. Several good day hikes in the area. We especially appreciate the time and effort made to restore the "Mill Pond" area. Thanks for all your hard work.

Our campsite (#15) was very quiet. Appreciated not having to drive anywhere to hike: the noisy creek trailhead was a 2 minute walk. The campground and especially the vault toilets were very clean and well stocked with TP.

We enjoyed our campsite (#3) which was more open than most sites but at the end of July it proved to be a blessing as the fierce mosquitoes didn't have as many places to hide. The walk to the lake was lovely and the lake itself was wonderful for swimming and paddling our canoe. A very peaceful place : )
The camp host (whose name I have unfortunately forgotten) was excellent

This camp ground was very nice. Kenneth, if i remember correctly, (The Host/Manager) was Awesome! Nice guy to chit chat with for sure. As for the camp sites i would suggest you DONT get number 9 if you have a tent. I reserved 9 and 13 for our stay. 9 would be nice if you had an RV but there was no tent spot. All the other sites that we seen were pretty great.. It was a short walk,3-5 minutes, down to the lake and day use areas. The whole area was very clean and tidy. Very relaxing atmosphere.
One very annoying part was the freaking mosquitos! bring plenty of bug spray with you. you will need it from sun up to sun down it seemed. We got chewed up during our week long stay. Not sure if this was a seasonal thing or not.
Over all i would put this camp in the top 5 of "will be returning to"

Nicely apportioned campground with lots of shade and easy access to Sullivan Lake. Camp monitor was very helpful. We had a 24' pull-behind RV and my 1500 RAM extended, plus a tent, and there was plenty of room for everything. Surfaces nice and flat. Fire pit and campsite were in good order when we arrived. Bathroom (pit toilet) and potable water were an easy walk from all sites.

This is a beautiful, mostly quiet, and small campground that is well-maintained. the only downside is that our site did not have a bear food locker, and when we checked in, the camp host was not present. I was going to ask for a different site so we could have a food locker. Other than that, it was wonderful

Nicely spaced campsites. Lots of brush around for firewood. Other campers quiet and friendly. Walking distance to lake and trail up Hall Mountain. Pit toilet was regularly cleaned. Some bugs.

Camped at the group-site this time around. Site consists of two double and six individual sites. It is extremely roomy with a large group campfire ring. Mosquitoes can be annoying depending on the time of year. The main campground features very spacious and private campsites. There is definitely a wildness feel here. There is no cell coverage in the campground. Bear proof food storage boxes are located in each campsite. Activities include boating, kayaking, fishing, and hiking. About 40 minutes from camp is Crawford State Park near Boundary Dam where there are Ranger lead tours of Gardner Caves. In addition, there is boating and kayaking on the Pend Oreille River to check out Z canyon and PeeWee Falls. Two hikes originate from the campground itself. Noisy Creek and the Lakeshore trail. Other hikes such as the Mill Pond are a short driving distance away. There is no light pollution, so the stars stand out in the night sky. The closest town with a good grocery store is Ione, which is about 7 miles away.
