What Guests Are Saying
Kalaloch is praised for its stunning natural beauty, proximity to the beach, and great accommodations, making it a favorite destination for many campers. Visitors enjoy the tidepools, beautiful sunsets, and clean facilities, with some noting the helpfulness of the rangers. However, concerns include the need for better maintenance of the campground, issues with broken facilities, and a complicated reservation process. Despite these drawbacks, many campers express a strong desire to return.

Spent 1 night in 034. Nice campsite, great location - near the beach trail, bathrooms, and water. NOT on the bluff side, with a campsite behind it (so, not the most private). Bathrooms were functional but VERY tired and old. Would definitely camp at Kalaloch again!

We had a great time at Kalaloch this year. Our family has been coming here for about 50 years. My only issue was access to potable water from the D loop as well as dish washing access (and realize it's not the parks fault for water mains being messed up) The staff was super helpful to us in being able to release one of the days on our reservation because of a no-show, so someone else could use it. Kalaloch is the BEST sandy beach in the PNW!! That's why reservations are so difficult, but we are grateful to have been able to grab them this year!
