OMH we loved this campground! So beautiful, loved the stairs to the beach and we got a wonderful site overlooking the water. Hope it doesn't erode more! The bathrooms were clean, sites big and separated. Really enjoyed our stay!

Wow! The view of Kalaloch beach from our campsite was amazing. This beach is so incredible. The campground itself is well maintained. Wished there was a little more privacy between our site (D25) and the site directly behind us but other than that, this was one of our absolute favorite campgrounds!

Beautiful beach with wonderful sunsets. We used a tent spot at campground and enjoyed grilling steaks on the fire. The lodge about 1/4 mile away serves pretty good lunches. Bathroom facilities at the campground are just OK.

While the location is great with close proximity to the wide beach, the infrastructure was in poor condition. One restroom (out of 5) was closed due to water problems. There were sometimes a waiting line to get into the restrooms. The one closest to us had only one toilet in the men's room. There was no soap in the bathrooms. Water stations for filling water bottles had been installed at the restroom locations but none of them were in service. The sole source of drinking water was at the RV pump out station. Because of high use, the area around the spigot was flooded. The central stairs to the beach were washed out so you had to walk to one of the remaining two. On all the campground instructions there was strict rules about parking on pavement only and the maximum length of vehicle and campers at each site. These rules were not followed or enforced. Perhaps these problems are the result of a cut in funding, but it is a shame to see such a historic campground in such a dilapidated state.

We stayed here two nights. The first night was amazing. Absolutely well kept excellent experience and campground site. The second night at this site was not great. No privacy at all. Very small campsite. Nowhere to fit tent had to move it to the parking area which made it difficult to park our car. The biggest problem was the broken fire grill that only had three metal spokes remaining making it very difficult to cook our meals. We had an ocean view, but was greatly obscured by poison oak.
