Using the reservation system on reservation .gov was very confusing. It looked on the website like we had the 2 days we wanted reserved but that was not the case. Only the first day was reserved, so I had to sign back on and reserve the second day and was hit with another $8.00 reservation fee. Total $16.00 reservation fee for two nights stay. I Asked the USFS guy that came around later if I could get a refund for the extra $8.00 and his reply was "There are a lot of bugs in the reservation system". So I rate Reservation.gov Poor and the Campground Excellent.
There are lots of large dead and rotten Fir trees in the campground. One large one fell near our camp. Another was hung up in a large Cottonwood and ready to fall when the wind blows.
