Site 2 was perfect! Next to the river and very spacious. Restroom was very clean. Pretty sweet 10 mile hike across the street. Can’t wait to come back!

Quiet campground with sites along the river. Easy enough drive to hiking at Mt Rainier to hike in and see the sunrise from the trail. Site is right next to the garbage and vault toilets, which were clean and well supplied, only occasional smells at the site from the toilets. Be advised, the campground (along with others along this stretch of Hwy 410) is popular with elk hunters in the late summer/fall. During our stay in early Sept, hunters blew their calls and drove through the campground at all hours during the night tracking the elk. Occasional rifle blasts at 3-4 am within a mile or so. Otherwise, quiet during the day and not bad for minimalist campground.

People were loud and inconsiderate. Left early because it was not a peaceful experience
