What Guests Are Saying
Indian Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, friendly and accommodating hosts, and spacious, shaded sites with easy access to the lake. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness of the facilities, making it a great spot for family camping trips. However, some guests noted disturbances from nearby dirt bikes and ATVs, as well as issues with low water levels, which detracted from their overall experience.

Clean, easy, camp host was very nice and orderly. Sites are close to the water, but in the shade. The only negative was the consistent and very close fly-by's of fighter jets in the morning of our final day which really scared our baby.

This particular site, I reserved by accident on this date. I tried to move to the next date but there was none available. Any change would cost me $10. Initially, the weekend was showing all FF (first come first serve) so I couldn't reserve through the weekend. Later in the week it started showing as all reserved. Nobody was available to explain to me why and how it happened. I probably won't reserve this campground again just for the bad experience we had trying to accommodate my group.

Been going here for 13 years!! It is phenomenal!! Be sure to float the river that feeds into Rimrock Lake! It’s Epic, but be careful and float with others! Have fun!

Wonderful place to camp! I camped with my brother during Aug. 31st - Sept. 3rd 2020. The camp host Dan, was very nice and helpful. Telling us about the PCT trail down the road, places to go fishing, and a bit about the wild life around the area and the animals you might see. My brother and I saw a heard of cows, heard of elk, marmots, chipmunks, a black bear and plenty of beautiful birds. We brought our canoe as well and was able to put it in the water. Campfires were not aloud at this time. But we brought a small portable cooking stove/propane tank and had no worries about cooking food. I will definitely be back.
Campsite: #006

Loved the camp site (#1), was very large and good set up for tents and camper/trailer , the camp host we saw around and attempted to talk to but does not seem to like to be bothered. The campgrounds have a private camp that connects together through a little trail and its a great swimming day use are worth the $ for access to day use and a little store up top of day use area for ice and wood or some goodies!
We all enjoyed out time there and hope to be back next year.

We had a wonderful time, it’s a nice place to camp. Thank you.
Comment: The map of the campground doesn’t truly represent the layout of the camp sites. We were in #38 and it was right next to #39, we could almost touch the RV next to us when our side was out. Luckily our friends were in #39 so it was an issue. Also, we have a 26’ RV and site #38 doesn’t easily accommodate a rig of that size as the pavement ends with a 6+” drop off and with slides out you are very close to the neighboring camp site.
Suggestion: update campground map and add additional details to the discriminatory of the sites. Both WA and Oregon State Parks do a really good job providing details of each camp site, including photos.
While we realize staffing levels are an issue, this could be a great Conservative Corp project.
