What Guests Are Saying
Indian Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful scenery, friendly and accommodating hosts, and spacious, shaded sites with easy access to the lake. Many visitors enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and cleanliness of the facilities, making it a great spot for family camping trips. However, some guests noted disturbances from nearby dirt bikes and ATVs, as well as issues with low water levels, which detracted from their overall experience.

Michael, the campground host is awesome! He keeps the campground immaculately clean and keeps everyone following the rules. We moved to a FF site and stayed through the 4th of July holiday weekend. Everyone followed the fire ban and no fireworks rules, thanks to Michael’s dedication and vigilance. We’ve done a lot of camping in National Forest campgrounds and never had a host as great as Michael. Really nice campground too!

This campground is in a beautiful, shaded, mature stand of Douglas fir, grand fir, and ponderosa pine trees, many of which tower overhead. The layout is spaced well enough so that many individual sites are screened for privacy with vegetation. The pit toilets are relatively clean and water faucets are plentiful. At campsites near the highway, vehicle traffic noise is loud and annoying.

Beautiful spot. Large sites, level, trails to hike fairly clean vaults. Host was pleasant

Campsites were clean. The entire campground was very loud from highest noise, loud campers, and fighter jets (yes, you read that correctly). The lake is great for kayaking/paddleboarding.

It was a little tricky to find the water spouts but they are "hidden" behind many of the campsites! This one is right next to the Rimrock Lake resort but the pace and vibe are much more laid back and private. It was perfect for my friend and I!

The host was on it! Very nice man and obviously loved what he did. Campground was clean, quiet after 10pm and just great. Host did a great job helping us extend our stay. We'd stay there again.

We came for my birthday, and we had two sites booked that were across the way from each other. We noticed that the site next to us was going to be open while we were there and the camp host was kind enough to switch our 2nd site to the one next to us. He was very helpful and we had a great time! Thank you.

Beautiful, well maintained campground with many trails to discover creek beds, beach, and forest. Kids had a fabulous time finding tadpoles and tiny frogs. The only annoyance was the traffic noise from the highway which doesn’t sit far from the campground. Will certainly return and do more exploring on the trails.
