We liked our campsite. It was a good location in relation to other relatives camping with us. We had to wait a short time until our site was vacated but nothing major. Lodgepole is a clean campground with nice walkways and asphalt to get to where you want to go. The campground is great for our great grandsons to ride their bikes (with an adult, of course). It's nice that it's a short ride to the top of the pass.

I love this location for when I visit Mr. Rainier National Park. It is a little sunnier and dryer in general but what I really love is the dark sky and stargazing as you are over the Cayuse Pass and in a darker spot for a great night sky. Traffic on the highway quietens down in the evening and night-time but don't be surprised to hear traffic early in the morning.

We reserved two adjoining sites, 10 and 11, but upon inspection, we found that Site 10 was infested with ants and had significant highway noise. Site 11 didn't have a large enough flat tent pad for our needs. Fortunately, the dates we were there were not busy and we had many unreserved sites to choose from. The sites we chose were great--adjoining as well and plenty of flat space for tents. Our only regret was that we could still hear the highway but not the river. It's a nice campground and we would gladly return.

Very nice campground next to the creek. If you are in a site closer to the road, you can hear the road noise, but it wasn’t bad.

- Single site fees include 1 vehicle and 1 legally towed vehicle. Any additional vehicles are subject to an extra vehicle fee on-site, space permitting.
- Off-road vehicle use prohibited in campground

- Don't Move Firewood: Please protect Pacific Northwest forests by preventing the spread of invasive species. Firewood can carry insects and diseases that can threaten the health of our western forests. You can make a difference by obtaining and burning your firewood near your camping destination. - Water is available in this location via a handpump and/or water spigot. Please DO NOT attach your RV hoses to the water systems we provide. These are made available to you to fill your water jugs/buckets and take back to your site to use. If you need to fill your RV water tanks, please fill your tank before you come to the campground. Thank you!
- Firewood is available for sale at host site for $10.00/bundle.
