What Guests Are Saying
Lodgepole Campground offers spacious sites in a serene atmosphere, perfect for stargazing and enjoying nature. Many guests appreciate the cleanliness and helpfulness of the camp hosts, along with the beautiful surroundings and proximity to hiking trails and Mt. Rainier. Some drawbacks include limited amenities (no water supply for RVs, lack of showers) and occasional issues with trash disposal, but overall, visitors express a strong desire to return.

My most recent visit and stay at Lodgepole Campground was this past weekend. It was a very pleasant experience. We had reserved site 31 but moved to another site due to traffic noise from Hiway 410. We located an empty site, Site 13 which was farther from the Hiway and was much quieter. Wood burning campfires were not allowed due to a Stage 2 Burn Ban. We had our Propane Fire Pit, which worked out quite well for us. Beth and Adam, the Campground Hosts are wonderful, friendly Hosts and do an excellent job maintaining this campground. The restrooms were always very clean and had no bathroom odors at all. I was able to refill my Campers water tank from the solar powered water system and faucet near the entrance to the campground. There were many very friendly campers staying in this campground this weekend. Most of the other campers were here to give their dogs a break from the fireworks at home, me included. I would recommend this campground to anyone who wants a very nice well cared for place to stay. This is my 17th camping season of staying at this campground because this campground always feels just right to me. .... John
