Nice campground. I had a site away from the river but could still vaguely hear it. Sites are pretty big. One water spigot that I found on the last day near the entrance. Neighbors were noisy and continued being loud after quiet hours. Also, recreation.gov says camps fully booked on a Saturday, but I’d say there were around 15 sites reserved that people just didn’t show up.

Love this campground! The bathrooms were so clean, the campsites well taken care of and we had a great time playing in the water.

The park is beautiful, but campsite number 10 is incredibly noisy due to proximity to Highway 410. The nearby river is beautiful and the camp is very clean. Restrooms were clean too! Best to camp along the river side!

We reserved and camped in site #21 for three nights, from July 3rd through July 6th. The campground looked like it was well cared for, and the Hosts were very nice to visit with. An unexpected surprise at Lodgepole was that they have the water system up and working again for the first time in about 3 years. It's a solar powered pump system that provided very cold and good tasting water from a faucet that was within about 10 feet of the well and Pump House. The faucet had great water pressure too for refilling our 5-gallon water jug. The campground was mostly full, with several sites reserved with no one in them. What a shame people have to be so inconsiderate to reserve a campsite and then not show up to occupy it. There should be a hefty fine for people who do this. We see this way too often in the Forest Service Campgrounds. Our stay in Lodgepole Campground was peaceful and quiet, especially at night. There was some traffic noise in the daytime, but it was not too bad. The traffic noise mostly comes from loud motorcycles going by on Highway 410. There were also some very nice, friendly fellow campers in campsites around us.

This site is very close to the highway. Not good place for a family with pets or children or if you're trying to connect to nature and get quiet space. Not secluded. Has an ant hill about 10 ft away. Not fun. Has mixed sun and shade. River is located down steep lose rock path. Again, not a safe place to swim, wade or bring kids or pets. Glacial waters. Short but okay trails. Conclusion: Okay for a quick one night stay passing through, but there are several other camps that are close and much better.

We love Lodge Pole Campground! The spaces are large and spread out, plenty of walking paths and quiet! The hosts were awesome as well. It's a hop to go to Mt. Rainier and lots of other beautiful places!
Something out of control of the park or hosts was that all the garbage dumpsters were full the entire four days we were there, to the point that garbage was being stacked around them. Otherwise another perfect visit!
