What Guests Are Saying
La Wis Wis Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, private sites, great access to hiking trails, and the nearby Ohanapecosh River, making it ideal for nature lovers. While some guests noted issues with maintenance, lack of potable water, and crowded conditions, many appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the overall charm of the campground. The location near Mt. Rainier and the peaceful atmosphere during weekdays were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects of the experience.

First time and it was just what we were looking for. Felt like camping rather than a camping resort. Quiet camp group, we were able to hear the river from our campsite. A little bit of a scramble access the river but once we got down to it, we had the river bed to ourselves for the afternoon.

The site was inhabitable for any kind of camping. We had a 19' camp trailer which we couldn't enter into the site. We tried to find another site that would fit our camper and none were available. Very disappointing as we promised camping with our grandchildren and had driven a distance. Had a difficult time finding another camp spot in the area.

A good site near the river, distant from other sites, close to drinking water and toilet. Beautiful views and little walks around the camp ground.

Nice campground with lots of access to water. Campground was booked but seemed like a lot of people didn’t show up or were just pass throughs for the night. Had loop H mostly to ourselves. Site 11 had some recent trees dropped which blocked access to water through back of site, but the Blue Hole trail head is just down the road. No cell service. Starlink had a few obstructions but worked.
