What Guests Are Saying
La Wis Wis Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, private sites, great access to hiking trails, and the nearby Ohanapecosh River, making it ideal for nature lovers. While some guests noted issues with maintenance, lack of potable water, and crowded conditions, many appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the overall charm of the campground. The location near Mt. Rainier and the peaceful atmosphere during weekdays were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects of the experience.

The campground is overused. Some sign posts didn’t have numbers to identify which site. Reservation info hadn’t been posted for several days which caused confusion with many campers. Vehicles everywhere.
Seemed highly disorganized and the sites were in need of maintenance. Would not stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for our Mt Rainier adventures. We were aware of the water issues and were able to fill up before entering. The river was a refreshing way to end the day. The out houses needed emptied, but they were tidy and well stocked.

Sierra and Shyla were superb managers. They stopped in to greet us. They answered questions and made us feel welcomed. Thank you!

Great location and easy to find. Not too far away for sunrise area - we woke up earlier and managed to get in Sunrise before 7am as we don't have the reservation to enter during the Timed reservation hour.

Always a pleasure to stay there, reserved a spot to be able to grab a first come first serve spot the next day. Only complaint is the nearest bathroom didn’t have a path without going thru someones campsite.
