I really loved Ohanapechosh campgrounds, however... when it comes to the generator rules, I was quite upset because if u dont hav power there and u have someone that loves to camp but needs to use say a cpap machine, how are they gnna use it without a generator? Also making it where we can only use our generator 2 hours at a time makes it difficult to do anything when u need to use it. Other than that, I loved it.

Strongly suggest an address for the park so people can use GPS to find the park but most of all I was shocked that there is not even a sign to show the entrance to the park on Hwy 123. Drove right by it all the way to hwy 12, turned around and had to drive back. RIDICULOUS!!!

We had a wonderful couple of days at Ohanapecosh. The hike to Trail of the Patriarchs (across the suspension bridge) and also the hike up to Silver Falls were amazing! We were grateful for beautiful weather also! We will be back!

This was our second trip to Ohanapecosh Campground this summer and we had an absolutely fabulous camping experience both times. Both of our stays were in A loop right on the river and it was a pleasure to see how much the river changed from swift and cold in mid July to a gentler flow in early September. The best sites in the campground are definitely on the river but the location can't be beat for exploring the whole park. Wonderful hikes right in the Ohanapecosh area and easy, highly scenic drives to both Sunrise and Paradise. Recommend!

Our stay at the campsite was wonderful. The site has all the essential amenities, the site was spacious, the washrooms were clean and there was adequate distance between the sites so that there is no disturbance and/or noise. There are ton of attractions and hiking spots in driving range, we woke up early and drove to sunrise point in the morning which was great.

The campground itself is great - I’ve stayed twice and it’s large and well maintained. Our site (B009) would not be a good fit for large tents. We had a couple small tents (2- and 3-person) and had trouble finding flat spots for them, although it did end up working out for us. Close to the bathrooms but we weren’t bothered by them at all. The site says it’s isolated, but we were right between two other sites - that said, there were enough trees between sites that we didn’t feel exposed. Love the campground, but would probably pick a different site next time if I came with a larger tent.
