About Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground

For up to date pool schedule information, please visit our website here. Pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Located along the Sol Duc River, Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground is on the "edge of the backcountry in the heart of the Olympic National Park" with hot spring pools and access to many hiking trails. In the late 1800s, settlers found the hot springs and called them "Sol Duc" a mispronunciation of the Quileute word for sparkling waters. The first hotel was built at Sol Duc in 1912 but burned down in 1916. The resort was rebuilt on a more modest scale in the 1920s, and completely rebuilt in the 1980s, which reflects how the resort looks today. Recreation.gov offers reservations for 76 of the resort's 82 tent sites and for all 17 of the resort's RV campsites, all nestled under a lush green canopy of old growth forest. Reservations for the remaining 20 tent sites are made directly at the campground as walk in reservations. Advanced reservations are recommended to guarantee a campsite. Multiple hiking trails are accessible directly from the property, with the most popular taking guests to spectacular Sol Duc Falls. The rv campsite is a parking lot. 12.5 mile drive into the woods I believe they could spare room for a nice rv campsite. Walked through the tent camping pretty nice. Also no restroom for rv site. Just out the back room of your rv. Made Koa camp sites look prime

Front desk staff very helpful in allowing us to change our camping reservation after a change of vehicle (from a RV spot to an individual tent spot) occurred at the last minute. All camp spots were full but last minute cancellations allowed my daughter and I to have a much nicer location in the campground as opposed to the RV spot. I appreciated the flexibility the staff showed at Sol Duc Hot Springs. They were very friendly, gave us the time to educate us on the process; even as busy as it was.

Nice campground & hiking trails in a very beautiful area!

Hot springs nice, though despite several staff members looking bored & chatting in the lobby, the women’s locker room was filthy. Definitely needed mopping & cleaning.

We were at the group campsite and it was huge & pristine! The stream was beautiful. There is only a vault toilet there, but not bad considering you have the whole area to yourself.
The hot springs are so rejuvenating!

The site listing was misleading. We had a 36ft RV, and booked for that size. The site listing made it look like we were on loop A or B, however we were in a gravel parking lot.

Not ideal. Wouldn't book again.

There was also Noone around to help us find our spot, just assumed were were in the gravel parking lot since that's where the larger rvs were.

It would be nicer if those spots were more isolated from each other.
Also, our site was large. However it was layed out horribly, the water and electric hook up were right in the center of the spot, so while the parking area was large. We had to be pushed to one side of the spot to miss the water hook up. Which meant we couldn't use our canopy.

Great park, and amenities. But the large rv parking area is not the best

RV camping with electric is very different from the regular camp spots. It's basically a parking lot. There is electric, no water and no bathrooms available. Just a very crowded parking lot with the sites very close together. Just didn't expect it.

  • The Mineral Hot Springs & Pool access will be in sessions:8:00 AM - 9:30 AM10:00 AM - 11:30 AM12:00 PM - 1:30 PM2:00 PM - 3:30 PM4:00 PM - 5:30 PM6:00 PM - 7:30 PM2026 pool access fees are $19 for adults, $15 for children ages 4-12 and $15 for seniors over 62 years old per session. Towel rentals are $5. You may bring your own towel. Lockers are available, but locks are not provided. Children under the age of 4 may only access the smallest hot spring pool and the swimming pool.
  • Caution: Wildlife including bears and raccoons frequent the area. All food and coolers (regardless of contents) must kept in approved animal proof containers.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash up to 6 feet in length at all times. Pets are not allowed on National Park trails at any time.
  • No loud music or sound (including generators) between the hours of , and .
  • Please verify you know your site prior to arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, speak with the front desk at the resort or the camp host. 
  • The National Park Service charges entrance fees at the entrance station on Sol Duc Road. Refer to the park Fees and Passes page.
