The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground offers a great location near beautiful hiking trails and the hot springs, making it an ideal base for outdoor adventures. Many reviewers praised the cleanliness of the facilities, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, especially during less crowded seasons. The baths were pretty dirty and swamped. The campground had only two reservations and I had to move campsites.
The campground was half empty.

Campground had nice facilities and campsites, heavily wooded. Direct access to trail to Sol Duc Falls. Close to the resort hot pools, which my wife loved - reserve one or more 90-minute pool access windows at the resort desk, same-day reservations only.

We were in site A33. The Recreation.gov web site calls the driveway grade for A33 slight. I would call the grade at least medium. We were unable to get our 27 foot Class C motorhome level in A33 even though we used all of the 25 Lynx leveling blocks we carry. The Ancient Groves Trail about 3 miles north of the campground is definitely worth hiking. Although not marked on the road, there is RV parking for the trail at the Scndry Trailhead which is shown on Google Maps. I downloaded an offline map of the area from Google Maps before the trip.

Space 72 loop B- multi-level spot, large parking (2 vehicles easy), room for two personal tents below, nice fire pit to table distance. Area is sloped, slippery when dry, unforgiving rocks and roots randomly about. Shady, small clearing for stargazing. Close to bathroom, night lighting not obnoxious. Neighboring site was vacant, but can feel intrusive. Otherwise nice private site.

Absolutely lovely location. Bathrooms could have been cleaner, but overall had a very positive experience at the campground, hot springs and hiking to the waterfalls.

Very secluded and quiet campground, the road to the trailheads run by many of the sites, so if car noise is a bother to you in the morning try to get closer to the river. Access to nice trails. Good facilities, flushing toilets is always a plus. This campground is similar to the rainforest one, so if you're looking for something different, this ain't it! The resort is just down the road, you technically have to pay to use the shower, but you could probably scoot in without much trouble. Good store there with basic needs as well.

We came in an RV. I understand the dump site will be available again sometime in the future. Suggest you check before counting on it. The RV sites are very close together but also in walking distance from the hot springs.

The Sol Duc Hot Springs Campground is beautiful, clean, and very accessible. There are many options on "how are do you want your hike" for accessing the falls or the hot springs, and all staff we spoke to along the way were excellent. We can't wait to come back again soon!
