What Guests Are Saying
The Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground offers a great location near beautiful hiking trails and the hot springs, making it an ideal base for outdoor adventures. Many reviewers praised the cleanliness of the facilities, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere, especially during less crowded seasons. However, some noted that the RV parking area felt cramped and lacked restroom facilities, with close proximity between campsites leading to occasional noise from neighbors.

Yes, it is a parking lot. But very close to the hot spring so that was a plus. We were extremely frustrated to learn the dump station was out of order. No sign. No notice. They said it had been closed since last summer. We would have made different arrangements knowing dumping wasn’t going to be an available at the end of our stay. I would be prepared that as well as no power. We helped a new camper a couple spots over trouble shoot their power problem and the 30 amp wasn’t working at all.

This was our first time here. We came with a camper on a truck Loop A and Loop B were still closed so we had to stay in the RV section. It was terrible. There were no space between each RV, no privacy at all. The ground was just pure mud. It did not make for a fun camping trip.

Wonderful area! The driving to get to some of these spots does take a long time because of the slow speeds around the winding corners.

We reserved 6 months in advance for our weeklong trip to Olympic National Park staying at three locations. Luckily Sold Duc was our last stop. There was no room for our trailer in site 21 Loop A. I entered our equipment when making the reservation. It states that there is room for two vehicles (truck and trailer), our overall length is well under the maximum. It was a tent site with two parking spaces (one for 21 and one for the neighbor site 22). This information needs to be updated in the system and a photo would be good too. There we no other available sites in September when we were there. We drove home two days early. Disappointed.

Early October was a fabulous time at Sol Duc. The autumn colors, the mushrooms and the crisp air. We hiked Lovers Lane and it was one of the more memorable hikes I have done. Absolutely gorgeous.

The Sol Duc Forest is phenomenal and well work spending 5 days in. Beautiful area and lots of trails. The campground is nestled in the trees and cozy spots. It is close to the Resort and it is wonderful to be able to soak in hot water after a day of hiking.

Space 53, loop B - a little tight with a 25’ RV but it did fit. Had to park the car near the bathroom but no big deal Beautiful camp ground, clean bathrooms with water source Really enjoyed this campground

Beautiful site, but not much of a footprint for a tent; expect to either come in with a very small tent or camp on the parking pad. Great campsite with good restroom proximity.
