Spacious plot with a large tent bed that could easily fit 3-4 personal two ppl tents. A bit of a walk from parking space if you’re hauling a lot of stuff. Have to share food box with neighboring site but that’s ok. Tranquil sound of stream is soothing at night. One draw back is that the bathroom is out of service. No potable water and kitchen sink either. Only vaulted toilet. Hopefully they will fix it soon.

Sol duc campground is always a pleasant experience. A couple nights camping, daily hikes and a trip to the resort hot springs late in the day. The campground is well tended with camp hosts, clean facilities, good drinking water and lots of space. Noise from other campers is minimal. Beautiful forest environment.

Overall,,, it's good. The fee for the hot spring is ridiculous. $18 each person for 1 1/2 hour is too short for the money.

Such a nice relaxing quiet campsite after a full day of hiking and then soaking in the hot springs.

Beautiful scenery, great hiking trails! Recommend the Lovers Loop trail, the Salmon Viewing Area and the Forest Walk. All great hikes and easy for most all hikers and walkers!

We stayed in our 30’ TT in the “RV loop” section of the campground. This is about one acre of relatively flat gravel surrounded by beautiful tall trees. There are 17 spots in this section, all with electric and water hookups. Only the last four spots are long and wide enough for largish rigs with pop outs. We were in one of them, and our companions in 35’ 5ers in the others. Room was sufficient , and the utilities worked fine. About 45 psi water. No cell signal (ATT or VZN). Nice hiking nearby, and the hot springs resort is a short walk from the campground. ~$15/person for a 90 minute time slot. Very relaxing, and after that much time you’re pretty cooked anyway. A few miles down the road is a salmon cascade viewpoint, where in the late summer you can witness salmon trying to make their way upstream to spawn. Very cool.
Note that to visit the area, it’s a 12 mile drive on a pretty but twisty 35mph road just to get to Hwy 101. Figure on some long travel days. The upside is that there is beautiful stuff to see in and around the park.

Site is pretty close to adjoining site but didn't have any problems. Beautiful scenery, clean bathrooms. Proximity to hot springs was great.
