What Guests Are Saying
Fishhook Park is a well-maintained, beautiful location with friendly hosts and clean facilities, making it a great spot for family outings and camping. Visitors appreciate the ample water access, quiet atmosphere, and the convenience of a nearby gas station. Some concerns include limited swimming access due to algae blooms and occasional discomfort from biting flies, but overall, guests express a desire to return.

A big group of us have been coming to this campground for about 5 years. We have always had a great experience. The biggest draw back are the biting flies. They mainly bite around the ankles and oh my do the itch. The last 2 years my ankles have swollen up and it has lasted days after getting home.

It is sad to see the trees and lawns that have been so cool and inviting being replaced by dust and weeds as the park dies due to lack of adequate watering in the heat of summer. I hope the park will consider budgeting for enough support to ensure consistent watering again before it is too late and the shade continues to shrink and disappear.
