Excellent campground! Very well kept with awesome hosts. Beautiful location. Signage around the local roads (outside of the site) could be better for navigating given the complete lack of cell service. Bring a paper map if you plan to navigate into the forest roads.

What a wonderful campground! It’s clean, the sites are a good size, and the camp hosts are always the best!
Camp hosts are a big reason that this campground is my favorite!
The campground is family oriented. They also sell firewood at the campground.

Easily our favorite place to camp. Secluded. Beautiful. Quiet. The sites are large. The access to the lake is convenient. And it is a short drive from Tacoma! Get here as often as we can.

Great campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and running water in the restrooms. Many back-in sites are long and seem like they accommodate two vehicles and two small trailers next to each other. The pull-through sites are also long but the back-in sites offer more privacy. Tracy, Shane, and Isaac were super friendly. They stop by each campsite around 7pm for the Kids’ Candy Hour, free candy for the little ones. Upon request, they’ll deliver firewood ($7/bundle) and ice ($4/10-lb. bag). They also keep the facilities looking great. The restrooms with running water in the slinks and flushing toilets were kept clean. The toilet in Loop B might clog but there’s a plunger. The swimming area is perfect for paddle boards and kayaks. Big buoys block it off from the rest of the lake and provide protection from boat/jetski wake. The shore consists of pebbles and rocks so I wouldn’t call it a beach. There are some trees but recommend bringing shade if you need it. Canopies with tent stakes will work best. Beach umbrellas no so much. BONUS: We got spotty LTE Verizon service at the swimming area on the walking path. Overall, loved our experience at Coho Campground and will definitely return!

This campground is surprisingly quiet. Even though it is a power boat lake that is several miles long I was on the shore at 10 AM and did not see a boat anywhere. It was a Monday morning but still that is quiet.

Site was nice and clean, with close access to the restroom. Restrooms were spotless and well maintained, well lit. Please note this site is NOT lake/waterfront, despite what the description says. The ground is very tough and it was hard to stake our tents/shelters. 2 4-person tents easily fit into this location. We fit 2 SUVs backed-in to the site, and there was ample space for additional vehicles or large vehicles to park in the driveway
