Very nice campground, and super clean bathrooms. Staff, and camp hosts are wonderful. We were there during the intense heat-wave, and spent all of our time in the water. It was fabulous. I recommend going during the week if you would like a quiet camping experience. The weekends are busy with lots of swimmers and boaters.

Some excellent sites, some so-so sites. Great campground hosts. Clean bathrooms. FCFS loop is closer to the beach/swim area.

This campground is a bit of work to get to - almost forty miles on a winding two road (it is well-paved) - but worth the effort. This may be our favorite campsite so far. The forest is thick and there are lots of trails. The lakeside is strikingly beautiful. Something that may be helpful to know: the campground is in two loops, one first come, first served (A) and one all reservations (B). We were there on weekdays in the middle of June and half of the first come, first served sites were empty. The reservation sites were in theory occupied, although there were a lot of no-shows.

We were in a hike in site and we were highly disappointed!! We were squeezed into a site surrounded by large parties who were quite loud with dogs that barked throughout our entire stay. We were also neat 2 yurts which were also full of large loud families also with barking dogs. Highly disappointing to be surrounded by such noise when the lake and mountains should have been a pleasant experience.
